Michelle Broekemier, BHM, LPN
Michelle joined Westfield Quality Care of Aurora in June 2022. Michelle has been in healthcare for the past 21 years. Michelle started her career in healthcare by completing her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Aide (MA) training. Michelle realized how rewarding it was to be working with seniors and made the decision that this is the perfect career path. Michelle then went on to Central Community College and obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree (LPN) as Michelle advanced in her nursing career from being a charge nurse to Evening House Supervisor and then to Admissions Coordinator, she decided it was time to work towards her next goal of Long-Term Care Administration. Michelle completed her Associates Degree in Long Term Care Administration from Southeast Community College and then completed her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management from Bellevue University. Michelle’s healthcare experience has been working for nursing agencies, Nebraska Veterans Home, Central City Care Center, York General Hearthstone and York General Willow Brook where she was the Administrator for 4 years before joining the Westfield Quality Care team.
Michelle grew up in Hordville and graduated from Polk-Hordville in 1991. Michelle lives in Central City with her husband Jonal. They have three children Noland, Noah, and Derrick and three grandchildren Ava, Oliver, and Amelia. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband, children and grandchildren.
