Hello from Westfield Quality Care of Aurora.
I want to congratulate Taylor Majerus, laundry aide, for being the March employee of the month. Thank you, Taylor, for all that you do for Westfield, we are so proud to have you in our family.
There were many crafts being made this week, the residents made door hangers and snowmen. Spa day is always very popular, back, head and hand massages for everyone.
For our COVID update this week there are no COVID positive residents or staff. Our facility remains open, and residents are able to participate in regular activities. Please remember to wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer often. If you have any COVID symptoms please stay home and take care of yourself, we will take good care of the residents, so you do not have to worry. I want to thank everyone that has been visiting and helping to keep our loved ones safe.
Here are some interesting facts about Nebraska:

- Union Pacific’s Bailey Yards, in North Platte, is the largest rail classification complex in the world.
- The largest porch swing in the world is located in Hebron, Nebraska and it can seat 25 adults.
